ಇನ್ಸ್ಪೈರ್ ಇನ್ಸ್ಟಿಟ್ಯೂಟ್ ಆಫ್ ಸ್ಪೋರ್ಟ್ಸ್ (IIS) ತನ್ನ 8ನೇ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾಪನಾ ದಿನ ಹಾಗೂ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯ ಸಂಭ್ರಮದ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ (Bangalore) ವಿಜಯನಗರ ಕ್ಯಾಂಪಸ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ‘ಇನ್ಸ್ಪೈರ್ ಮ್ಯೂಸಿಯಂ’ (Inspire Museum) ಅನ್ನು ಲೋಕಾರ್ಪಣೆ ಮಾಡಿದೆ.
ಕಳೆದ ಕೆಲವು ವರ್ಷಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಯಶಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ಕಾರಣರಾದ ಕ್ರೀಡಾಪಟುಗಳು, ತರಬೇತುದಾರರು ಮತ್ತು ಅವರ ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ಸಾಧನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಇದು ಸಮರ್ಪಿತವಾದ ಗೌರವವಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಮ್ಯೂಸಿಯಂ IIS ನ ಇದುವರೆಗಿನ ಪಯಣವನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡುವುದರ ಜೊತೆಗೆ, ಇಲ್ಲಿ ತರಬೇತಿ ಪಡೆದು ಬೆಳೆದ ಕ್ರೀಡಾಪಟುಗಳ ಸಾಧನೆಗಳು, ಮೈಲಿಗಲ್ಲುಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಅವರ ಸ್ಫೂರ್ತಿದಾಯಕ ಕಥೆಗಳನ್ನು ಪರಿಚಯಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.
ಈ ಇನ್ಸ್ಪೈರ್ ಮ್ಯೂಸಿಯಂ, ಒಲಿಂಪಿಕ್ಸ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತದ ಸಾಧನೆಯ ಹಾದಿ, ದೇಶದ ಸ್ಫೂರ್ತಿದಾಯಕ ಚಾಂಪಿಯನ್ಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಅತ್ಯುನ್ನತ ಕ್ರೀಡಾಕೂಟಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತ್ರಿವರ್ಣ ಧ್ವಜ ಹಾರಿಸಿದ ದಿಗ್ಗಜ ಕ್ರೀಡಾಪಟುಗಳ ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ಸ್ಮರಣಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಒಂದೆಡೆ ಒಟ್ಟುಗೂಡಿಸಿದೆ.
ಇನ್ಸ್ಪೈರ್ ಇನ್ಸ್ಟಿಟ್ಯೂಟ್ ಆಫ್ ಸ್ಪೋರ್ಟ್ಸ್ನ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾಪಕರಾದ ಪಾರ್ಥ ಜಿಂದಾಲ್ ಅವರು ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ಇನ್ಸ್ಪೈರ್ ಮ್ಯೂಸಿಯಂ ಎನ್ನುವುದು ಕೇವಲ ಭಾರತದ ಒಲಿಂಪಿಕ್ ಪಯಣದ ಪ್ರತಿಬಿಂಬ ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲ, ಬದಲಿಗೆ ದೇಶ ಹೆಮ್ಮೆಪಡುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ಕ್ರೀಡಾಪಟುಗಳ ಸಾಧನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಕಳೆದ ಎಂಟು ವರ್ಷಗಳಲ್ಲಿ IIS ನ ಸ್ಫೂರ್ತಿದಾಯಕ ಚಾಂಪಿಯನ್ಗಳನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸಲು ಶ್ರಮಿಸಿದವರ ಪರಿಶ್ರಮದ ಪ್ರತೀಕವಾಗಿದೆ. ಮುಂಬರುವ ಪೀಳಿಗೆಯ ಕ್ರೀಡಾಪಟುಗಳಿಗೆ ಸ್ಫೂರ್ತಿ ತುಂಬಲು ಹಾಗೂ ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಕನಸುಗಳನ್ನು ಕಾಣುವಂತೆ ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸಲು ಈ ಮ್ಯೂಸಿಯಂ ಅನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ನಾವು ಎಂಟು ವರ್ಷಗಳನ್ನು ಪೂರೈಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ, ಭಾರತೀಯ ಕ್ರೀಡಾಪಟುಗಳು ಉನ್ನತ ಮಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಶಸ್ಸು ಸಾಧಿಸಲು ಅಗತ್ಯವಿರುವ ಬೆಂಬಲ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯನ್ನು ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಬಲಪಡಿಸುವುದೇ ನಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಗುರಿಯಾಗಿದೆ” ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.

ಇನ್ಸ್ಪೈರ್ ಇನ್ಸ್ಟಿಟ್ಯೂಟ್ ಆಫ್ ಸ್ಪೋರ್ಟ್ಸ್ನ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಮನೀಷಾ ಮಲ್ಹೋತ್ರಾ ಅವರು ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಾ, ಕಳೆದ ಎಂಟು ವರ್ಷಗಳಲ್ಲಿ IIS ನ ಕ್ರೀಡಾಪಟುಗಳು ವಿವಿಧ ವಿಭಾಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಮೈಲಿಗಲ್ಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಸಾಧಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇನ್ಸ್ಪೈರ್ ಮ್ಯೂಸಿಯಂ ಆ ಸ್ಮರಣೀಯ ಕ್ಷಣಗಳನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಅವುಗಳ ಹಿಂದಿನ ಸ್ಫೂರ್ತಿದಾಯಕ ಕಥೆಗಳನ್ನು ಒಂದೆಡೆ ತಂದಿದೆ. ಇದು IIS ಹಾಗೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಕ್ರೀಡಾಪಟುಗಳು ಕಾಲಾನಂತರದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಗೆ ಬೆಳೆದು ಬಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂಬುದರ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಮುಂಬರುವ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇದು ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ವಿಸ್ತಾರಗೊಳ್ಳಲಿದೆ ಎಂದು ನಾವು ನಂಬುತ್ತೇವೆ” ಎಂದರು.
ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯಂದು ಉದ್ಘಾಟನೆಗೊಂಡ ಈ ಮ್ಯೂಸಿಯಂ, IIS ನ ಎಂಟನೇ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾಪನಾ ದಿನದ ಸಂಭ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿತು. IIS ತನ್ನ ಒಂಬತ್ತನೇ ವರ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾಲಿಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ, ಇನ್ಸ್ಪೈರ್ ಮ್ಯೂಸಿಯಂ ಅದರ ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ಇತಿಹಾಸದ ಜೀವಂತ ದಾಖಲೆಯಾಗಿ ಮುಂದುವರಿಯಲಿದ್ದು, ಮುಂದಿನ ಅಧ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ಬರೆಯಲಿರುವ ಕ್ರೀಡಾಪಟುಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಧನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ದಾರಿದೀಪವಾಗಲಿದೆ.
Inspire Institute of Sports Launches ‘Inspire Museum’ in Karnataka
Bengaluru: The Inspire Institute of Sports (IIS) has unveiled the ‘Inspire Museum’ at its Vijayanagar campus in Karnataka as part of celebrations marking its 8th Foundation Day and Independence Day.
The museum is a tribute to the athletes, coaches and sporting achievements that have contributed to the institute’s success over the past eight years. It chronicles IIS’s journey while showcasing the achievements, milestones and inspiring stories of athletes who have trained and developed at the institute.
The Inspire Museum brings together memorabilia highlighting India’s Olympic journey, inspiring champions and legendary sportspersons who have proudly raised the Tricolour at some of the world’s biggest sporting events.
Speaking on the occasion, Inspire Institute of Sports founder Parth Jindal said the museum is not merely a reflection of India’s Olympic journey but also a celebration of the achievements of athletes who have made the country proud and the efforts of everyone who has contributed to nurturing inspiring champions at IIS over the past eight years.
Manisha Malhotra, President of the Inspire Institute of Sports, said IIS athletes have achieved significant milestones across various sporting disciplines over the past eight years.
“The museum has been created to inspire the next generation of athletes and encourage them to dream bigger. As we complete eight years, our key focus is to further strengthen the support system required for Indian athletes to achieve success at the highest level,”

“The Inspire Museum brings together these memorable moments and the inspiring stories behind them. It is a testament to how IIS and our athletes have evolved over the years. We believe the museum will continue to expand in the years ahead,” she said.
Inaugurated on Independence Day, the museum added to the celebrations marking IIS’s eighth Foundation Day. As the institute enters its ninth year, the Inspire Museum is expected to serve as a living record of its sporting legacy while inspiring athletes who will shape the next chapter of Indian sport.
Along with theoretical inputs, the workshop will focus on practical training, allowing participants to apply the skills they learn during the sessions.
Certificates for Participants
Every participant who completes the workshop will be awarded a certificate.
The registration fee has been fixed at ₹599, with seats limited to a specified number of participants. Youngsters interested in media, RJ and VJ careers, news presentation, anchoring and theatre can make use of the opportunity.
