ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು (Bengaluru) ನಗರದ ಪರಪ್ಪನ ಅಗ್ರಹಾರ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಕಾರಾಗೃಹದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಸಿಬಿ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ನಡೆಸಿದ ದಾಳಿಯ ವೇಳೆ ಅತ್ಯಾಚಾರ ಪ್ರಕರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಜೀವಾವಧಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆ ಅನುಭವಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಮಾಜಿ ಸಂಸದ ಪ್ರಜ್ವಲ್ ರೇವಣ್ಣ (Prajwal Revanna) ಅವರ ಬಳಿ ಮೊಬೈಲ್ ಫೋನ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಪೆನ್ಡ್ರೈವ್ ಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗಿರುವುದು ಜೈಲು ಇಲಾಖೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರೀ ಸಂಚಲನಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಗಿದೆ.
ಪ್ರಜ್ವಲ್ ರೇವಣ್ಣ ಅವರ ಸೆಲ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ನೀಲಿ ಬಣ್ಣದ ರೆಡ್ಮಿ 5G ಮೊಬೈಲ್, ಚಾರ್ಜರ್, ನೀಲಿ ಬಣ್ಣದ ಪಾಕೆಟ್ ನೋಟ್ಬುಕ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಕಪ್ಪು ಬಣ್ಣದ ಸ್ಯಾಂಡಿಸ್ಕ್ ಪೆನ್ಡ್ರೈವ್ ಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಮೊಬೈಲ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಪೆನ್ಡ್ರೈವ್ ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆ ವೇಳೆ ಅಶ್ಲೀಲ ವಿಡಿಯೋಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಯುವತಿಯರ ಅಶ್ಲೀಲ ಫೋಟೋಗಳಿರುವುದು ಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿದುಬಂದಿದೆ.
ಜೈಲಿನೊಳಗೆ ಮೊಬೈಲ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಪೆನ್ಡ್ರೈವ್ ಹೇಗೆ ತಲುಪಿತು? ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರಜ್ವಲ್ ರೇವಣ್ಣ ಅವರಿಗೆ ನೀಡಿದವರು ಯಾರು? ಎಂಬ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳು ಇದೀಗ ಎದ್ದಿವೆ. ಈ ಕುರಿತು ವಿಚಾರಣೆ ನಡೆಸಿದರೂ ಪ್ರಜ್ವಲ್ ರೇವಣ್ಣ ಯಾವುದೇ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ ಎನ್ನಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ವಿಐಪಿ ಸೆಲ್ನಿಂದ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಸೆಲ್ಗೆ ಶಿಫ್ಟ್
ಪ್ರಕರಣ ತೀವ್ರ ಸ್ವರೂಪ ಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಜ್ವಲ್ ರೇವಣ್ಣ ಅವರನ್ನು ವಿಐಪಿ ಸೆಲ್ನಿಂದ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಸಜಾ ಬಂಧಿಗಳ ಸೆಲ್ಗೆ ಸ್ಥಳಾಂತರಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಹಿಂದೆ ವಿಐಪಿ ಸೆಲ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಜ್ವಲ್ ರೇವಣ್ಣ ಹಾಗೂ ಮತ್ತೋರ್ವ ವಿಚಾರಣಾಧೀನ ಕೈದಿ ಪ್ರತಾಪ್ ರಾಯ್ ಇದ್ದರು.
ಪೊಕ್ಸೋ ಪ್ರಕರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂಧಿತನಾಗಿರುವ ಪ್ರತಾಪ್ ರಾಯ್, ಪ್ರಜ್ವಲ್ ರೇವಣ್ಣ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸಹಾಯಕನ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದ ಎನ್ನಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದೀಗ ಪ್ರಜ್ವಲ್ ರೇವಣ್ಣ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸುಮಾರು 20 ಖೈದಿಗಳಿರುವ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಸೆಲ್ಗೆ ಸ್ಥಳಾಂತರಿಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಆ ಸೆಲ್ನಲ್ಲಿ 20 ಖೈದಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಒಂದೇ ಶೌಚಾಲಯವಿದೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿದುಬಂದಿದೆ.
ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ, ಜೈಲಿನ ಕಡ್ಡಾಯ ಸಮವಸ್ತ್ರ ಧರಿಸಿ ಲೈಬ್ರರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುವಂತೆ ಪ್ರಜ್ವಲ್ ರೇವಣ್ಣ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸೂಚಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ಜೈಲು ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ನೋಟಿಸ್
ಮೊಬೈಲ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಪೆನ್ಡ್ರೈವ್ ಪತ್ತೆಯಾದ ಪ್ರಕರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಜೈಲು ಮತ್ತು ಸುಧಾರಣಾ ಸೇವೆಗಳ ಡಿಜಿಪಿ ಅಲೋಕ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರು ಜೈಲು ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ನೋಟಿಸ್ ಜಾರಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಕಳೆದ 6ರಂದು ಜೈಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದ ತಪಾಸಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮೊಬೈಲ್ ಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಇದೀಗ ಮೊಬೈಲ್ ಜೈಲಿನೊಳಗೆ ಹೇಗೆ ಬಂತು ಹಾಗೂ ಅದನ್ನು ಪ್ರಜ್ವಲ್ ರೇವಣ್ಣ ಅವರಿಗೆ ನೀಡಿದವರು ಯಾರು ಎಂಬ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ತಕ್ಷಣ ತನಿಖೆ ನಡೆಸಿ ವರದಿ ನೀಡುವಂತೆ ಸೂಚಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಅಸಿಸ್ಟೆಂಟ್ ಸೂಪರಿಂಟೆಂಡೆಂಟ್ ಅಮಾನತು
ಕರ್ತವ್ಯ ಲೋಪದ ಆರೋಪದ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಜೈಲಿನ ಅಸಿಸ್ಟೆಂಟ್ ಸೂಪರಿಂಟೆಂಡೆಂಟ್ ಈರಣ್ಣ ರಂಗಾಪುರ ಅವರನ್ನು ಅಮಾನತುಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಜೈಲು ಎಸ್ಪಿ ಅನ್ಶುಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರಿಗೂ ಡಿಜಿಪಿ ಅಲೋಕ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ನೋಟಿಸ್ ಜಾರಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು, ಕರ್ತವ್ಯ ಲೋಪಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾರಣವೇನು ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸುವಂತೆ ಸೂಚಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಜೈಲಿನೊಳಗೆ ನಿಷೇಧಿತ ವಸ್ತುಗಳು ಹೇಗೆ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿದವು ಹಾಗೂ ಈ ಪ್ರಕರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಇನ್ನೂ ಯಾರಾದರೂ ಭಾಗಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆಯೇ ಎಂಬುದರ ಕುರಿತು ತನಿಖೆ ಮುಂದುವರಿದಿದೆ.
Prajwal Revanna : Mobile Phone, Pen Drive Found in Parappana Agrahara Jail
Bengaluru: Former MP Prajwal Revanna, who is serving a life sentence in a rape case, has landed in fresh trouble after CCB police reportedly found a mobile phone and a pen drive in his cell at Bengaluru’s Parappana Agrahara Central Prison.
The seized items reportedly include a blue Redmi 5G mobile phone, a charger, a blue pocket notebook and a black SanDisk pen drive. During the examination of the electronic devices, police reportedly found obscene videos and images, raising serious questions about how the prohibited devices entered the prison.
Revanna Shifted From VIP Cell
Following the discovery, Prajwal Revanna has reportedly been shifted from the VIP cell to a general convict cell. He was earlier housed in the VIP section along with undertrial prisoner Pratap Rai, who was reportedly assisting him.
Revanna has now been moved to a cell shared with around 20 inmates. He has also reportedly been instructed to wear the prescribed prison uniform and work in the prison library.
Prison Officials Face Action
The incident has triggered an internal investigation within the prison department. Director General of Prisons and Correctional Services Alok Kumar has reportedly issued notices to senior prison officials, seeking an explanation over the lapse.
Assistant Superintendent Eeranna Rangapur has been suspended for alleged negligence of duty, while Jail Superintendent Anshukumar has also been served a notice.
Officials are investigating how the mobile phone and pen drive entered the prison and who supplied them to Prajwal Revanna. The circumstances surrounding the devices and their contents are also being examined.
