Four Government Schools of Sagar Taluk are taken adopted by Actor Sudeep

Shivamogga: Actor Sudeep has turned out to be a role model for all celebrates who has taken adoption of four Government Schools at Sagar and has decided to bring them up to the qualitative level of private schools.

Yes! …The four Government Schools of M L Village, SN Extension, Halasasi, Aavige of Sagar Taluk are being taken adoption legally by Kiccha Sudeep Charitable Trust and development work will be taken up soon.

Speaking to Kalpa News Digital Media, Ramesh Kitty, The President of Kiccha Sudeep Charitable Society, which runs under the guidance of Sudeep, has given complete details in context with this ideological plan.

It has been planned for updation of these Schools according to the regulations of the Education Department, setting aside the matters relating to the Salaries of Teachers.

Renovation of School Building, Digitization of Education, Better quality of Furniture, teaching aids, exclusive toilets for boys and girls, Drinking Water, Sports equipments, provision of lockers to safeguard the documents, Uniforms, Maps, well furnished Kitchen, CC Camera, Auditorium likewise full fledged development will be made.
Not only the Schools but the works of development of supportive facilities also will be carried out.

There are students who have to walk down 8 Km on the worst street to reach the School at Aavige Village. Thus, The Society having understood their problems, developing the road in association with The Government and plan to provide the facility of vehicles for the students who come from far distance, is really applaudable.

Appointment of guest teachers with special permission
Ever lasting problem of the shortage of teaching staff in the school of the most backward Aavige Village of Sagar, is the all time problem. A solution has been found for this problem. A plan of sending the guest lectures to provide all kinds of facilities has been incorporated at the cost the Trust on getting the special permission from the Government.

Legal Adoption
On knowing the facts about these Schools, with the permission of the Kiccha Sudeep Charitable Trust, an appeal will be sent to the Government through BEO and DDPI to give permission for adoption of Schools.

How much cost of expenditure?
The plan, of Rs.30 Lakhs at the first stage, has been formed and a set of works is going to be initiated soon. Later on, these schools will be totally developed stage by stage.

“Many decades are over availed of achievers like Vishveshvaraya and Abdul Kalaam. Our nation is in need of Achievers. The in- heart opinion of Sudeep Sir is to identify the children and to supplement them with complete co-operation is necessary. Therefore, we have taken adoption of four schools. Our objectives will be fulfilled if we get one achiever from each School, four achievers are gifted to our nation. Rendering our service to our nation in our own way is the intention of Sudeep Sir and also of our Trust” says Ramesh Kitty, The President, Kiccha Sudeep Charitable Trust.

Do you know as to how are the areas of the schools which we have selected?
Listen them, in their own words, who had visited the places:
Aavige Village is 49 KM away from Sagara. The speciality and the mystery of this School is in the amidst of the thick forest!!! The Government had opened a school for the children of hilly forest Kunabi Tribes. The headmaster is appointed. No one is there to teach the lesson to the children. If you search the whole village only three literates are available. Of them one person who has passed Degree, two are PUC passed.

Only one is a teacher out of three!!! Still the most surprising fact is that the children walk 8 Km on foot to learn at the School. On knowing of these facts, we visited the place.

We went 38 Km by Car and 3 KM by walk on foot and reached Aavi. Then we felt to help the children out for their education. Therefore, we have taken adoption of the school. We are in line with a view of of developing the school all along providing them teacher for teaching the lessons. The schools which are taken adoption so far this School stands unique.” The members of Kiccha Sudeep Charitable Trust, reveals their feeling with excitement.
