ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಡಿ.ಕೆ. ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್ (D.K. Shivakumar) ನೇತೃತ್ವದ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸರ್ಕಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಚಿವ ಸಂಪುಟ (Karnataka Cabinet) ವಿಸ್ತರಣೆಯ ಬಳಿಕ ಉಂಟಾಗಿದ್ದ ಖಾತೆ ಹಂಚಿಕೆ ಗೊಂದಲಕ್ಕೆ ತೆರೆ ಬಿದ್ದಿದೆ. ಬುಧವಾರ ಸಚಿವರಿಗೆ ವಿವಿಧ ಇಲಾಖೆಗಳ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಹೊಸದಾಗಿ ಸಂಪುಟಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರ್ಪಡೆಯಾದ ಸಚಿವರಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹುತೇಕರು ಈ ಹಿಂದೆ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಇಲಾಖೆಗಳನ್ನೇ ಮುಂದುವರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದು, ಕೆಲವರಿಗೆ ಹೊಸ ಖಾತೆಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಒಟ್ಟು 19 ಮಂದಿ ಸಚಿವರು ಪ್ರಮಾಣವಚನ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಈ ಪೈಕಿ 13 ಮಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಸದ್ಯ ಖಾತೆ ಹಂಚಿಕೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಉಳಿದ 6 ಸಚಿವರಿಗೆ ಇನ್ನೂ ಖಾತೆ ಹಂಚಿಕೆಯಾಗಿಲ್ಲ.

ಬಿ. ನಾಗೇಂದ್ರ, ರುದ್ರಪ್ಪ ಲಮಾಣಿ, ಶಿವರಾಜ್ ತಂಗಡಗಿ, ವಿಜಯಪ್ಪ ಕಾಶಪ್ಪನವರ್, ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಟಿ. ರಘುಮೂರ್ತಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಈ ಹಂತದಲ್ಲಿ ಖಾತೆ ಹಂಚಿಕೆಯಾಗಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ವರದಿಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಇವರಿಗೂ ಶೀಘ್ರದಲ್ಲೇ ಖಾತೆ ಹಂಚಿಕೆಯಾಗುವ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯಿದೆ.
ಸಚಿವ ಸಂಪುಟ ವಿಸ್ತರಣೆಯ ಬಳಿಕ ಸಚಿವ ಸ್ಥಾನ ಸಿಗದ ಶಾಸಕರ ಅಸಮಾಧಾನ ಹಾಗೂ ಖಾತೆ ಹಂಚಿಕೆ ವಿಳಂಬದಿಂದ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಸರ್ಕಾರದೊಳಗೆ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಚರ್ಚೆಗಳು ತೀವ್ರಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದವು. ಇದೀಗ ಖಾತೆ ಹಂಚಿಕೆ ಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಂಡಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಸಚಿವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಇಲಾಖೆಗಳ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿ ವಹಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಆಡಳಿತವನ್ನು ಚುರುಕುಗೊಳಿಸುವ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಮೂಡಿದೆ.
Karnataka Cabinet Portfolio Allocation For 13 Ministers
Bengaluru: The Karnataka government led by Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar has resolved the uncertainty over the allocation of ministerial portfolios following the recent cabinet expansion. Portfolios were allocated to ministers on Wednesday.
Most of the newly inducted ministers have been given departments they had handled earlier, while some have been assigned new portfolios. Of the 19 ministers who took oath, portfolios have so far been allocated to 13, while six ministers are yet to receive departmental responsibilities.

- Basanthappa – Fisheries

- Zameer Ahmed Khan – Housing
- Rizwan Arshad – Food and Civil Supplies
- Laxman Savadi – Cooperation
- Dr. Ajay Singh – Forests
- S.S. Mallikarjun – Mines and Geology
- Puttarangashetty – Animal Husbandry
- U.T. Khader – Health, Minority Welfare and Waqf
Six Ministers Yet to Get Portfolios
According to reports, B. Nagendra, Rudrappa Lamani, Shivaraj Tangadagi, Vijaya Kashappanavar, Narendra Swamy and T. Raghu Murthy have not been assigned portfolios at this stage.
The remaining ministers are expected to receive their departmental responsibilities soon.
Portfolio Delay Had Triggered Political Discussions
The cabinet expansion had led to considerable political discussions within the ruling Congress, particularly over the denial of ministerial berths to some MLAs and the delay in allocating portfolios to the newly inducted ministers.
With the latest portfolio allocation, the government is expected to move towards a more streamlined administrative functioning, with ministers assuming responsibility for their respective departments and accelerating governance and implementation of government programmes.
