ಶ್ರೀಗಂಧ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕøತಿಕ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಶಿವಸಂಕಲ್ಪ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳ ಸಂಯುಕ್ತಾಶ್ರಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಜುಲೈ31ರಂದು ಸಂಜೆ 6 ಗಂಟೆಗೆ ಕುವೆಂಪು ರಂಗಮಂದಿರದಲ್ಲಿ ಗಾನ ಕೋಗಿಲೆ ಎಸ್.ಜಾನಕಿ ಸಂಸ್ಮರಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ `ನಾದ ದೇವತೆಯ ನೆನಪಿನಲಿ…’ ಎಂಬ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಧಕರಿಗೆ ಸನ್ಮಾನ ಹಾಗೂ ಗಾಯನ, ವಾದ್ಯ ಕಲಾವಿದರಿಂದ ಎಸ್. ಜಾನಕಿ (S Janaki) ಹಾಡಿರುವ ಗೀತೆಗಳ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತಿ ನಡೆಯಲಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಶ್ರೀಗಂಧ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಕೆ.ಈ. ಕಾಂತೇಶ್ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
ಅವರು ಇಂದು ಪತ್ರಿಕಾಗೋಷ್ಠಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ಎಸ್.ಜಾನಕಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕೊನೆಯತನಕ ನೋಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ನವೀನ್ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಗೌರವ ಸಮರ್ಪಣೆ ಮಾಡುವುದರ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ರಾಜ್ಯಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಪುರಸ್ಕøತ ಪಂಡಿತ್ ಆರ್.ಬಿ.ಸಂಗಮೇಶ್ವರ ಗವಾಯಿ, ಪಂಡಿತ್ ಪುಟ್ಟರಾಜ ಗವಾಯಿ ಶಿಷ್ಯರಾದ ಪಂಡಿತ್ ಹುಮಾಯೂನ್ ಹರ್ಲಾಪುರ್ ಜೊತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಗಾಯಕರಾದ ವಿನಯ್ ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ, ಭಾರತೀ ಚಂದ್ರಶೇಖರ್, ಶುಭಾ ರಾಘವೇಂದ್ರ, ನಾಗರತ್ನ ಚಂದ್ರಶೇಖರಯ್ಯ, ಸುಮಾ ರವೀಂದ್ರ ಹೆಗಡೆ ಇವರನ್ನು ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದರು.
ಕಲಾವಿದರಾದ ಮಂಗಳಾರವಿ, ಸುರೇಖಾ ಹೆಗಡೆ, ಸಂಜನಾಕುಮಾರ್, ಪೃಥ್ವಿಗೌಡ, ಸಾಕೇತ್ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರೀ ಮೊದಲಾದವರು ವಿನಯ್ ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗರವರ ಪರಿಕಲ್ಪನೆ-ನಿರೂಪಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಗಾಯನ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತಪಡಿಸಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದರು.

S. Janaki | July 31 | Program in Shivamogga in Memory of the ‘Goddess of Melody’
Shivamogga: A special cultural program titled “Naada Devateya Nenapinalli…” (In Memory of the Goddess of Melody) will be organised on July 31 at 6:00 PM at Kuvempu Rangamandira in Shivamogga. The event is being jointly organised by Shrigandha Cultural Organisation and Shivasankalpa Organisation in remembrance of legendary singer S. Janaki.
Speaking at a press conference, Shrigandha organisation leader K.E. Kantesh said that the program will include felicitation of achievers and musical performances featuring songs sung by S. Janaki, presented by vocalists and instrumental artists.

He added that Naveen, who took care of S. Janaki in her later years, will be honoured. Additionally, state award-winning Pandit R.B. Sangameshwar Gawai, along with Pandit Humayun Harlapur (disciple of Pandit Puttaraj Gawai), and singers Vinay Shivamogga, Bharathi Chandrashekar, Shubha Raghavendra, Nagarathna Chandrashekarayya, and Suma Ravindra Hegde will be felicitated.
Artists including Mangalaaravi, Surekha Hegde, Sanjana Kumar, Prithvi Gowda, and Saketh Shastry will present musical performances under the concept and direction of Vinay Shivamogga.
The event will be graced by Dr. Shantalinga Shivacharya Mahaswamiji, designated Peethadhipati of Kedara Panchapeetha, Kanvakuppe Gavimath, Jagalur Tapokshetra. Former Deputy Chief Minister and President of Shrigandha, K.S. Eshwarappa, will preside over the function.
Shrigandha Treasurer K.E. Kantesh, Shivasankalpa’s S.N. Mahalingaiah Shastri, and key members including N.M. Somashekarappa, E. Vishwas, and Umesh Aradhya will also be present.
Former Deputy CM K.S. Eshwarappa, along with E. Vishwas, H.M. Satyanarayana, Shrikant, Venkatesh, Somanna, Pushpa, Puneeth, Yashodhara, Vinutha, Mahesh, Lingamurthy, Sudheendra and others attended the press conference.
