ನೈಋತ್ಯ ರೈಲ್ವೆಯ (South Western Railway) ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ವಿಭಾಗವು 2026ರ ಜುಲೈ ತಿಂಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕ ಹಾಗೂ ಸರಕು ಸಾಗಣೆ ಎರಡೂ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಉತ್ತಮ ಸಾಧನೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಒಟ್ಟು ಆದಾಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಳೆದ ವರ್ಷದ ಇದೇ ಅವಧಿಗೆ ಹೋಲಿಸಿದರೆ ಶೇ. 3.56ರಷ್ಟು ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆ ಕಂಡಿದೆ.
ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ವಿಭಾಗವು (Bengaluru Division) ಜುಲೈ 2026ರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಟ್ಟು ₹281.91 ಕೋಟಿ ಆದಾಯ ಗಳಿಸಿದ್ದು, 2025ರ ಜುಲೈನಲ್ಲಿ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದ್ದ ₹272.22 ಕೋಟಿ ಆದಾಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಲಿಸಿದರೆ ಶೇ. 3.56ರಷ್ಟು ಹೆಚ್ಚಳವಾಗಿದೆ.
ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕರ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ವಿಭಾಗವು ಏರಿಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದೆ. ಜುಲೈ 2025ರಲ್ಲಿ 9.10 ಮಿಲಿಯನ್ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕರನ್ನು ಸಾಗಿಸಿದ್ದರೆ, ಜುಲೈ 2026ರಲ್ಲಿ 9.23 ಮಿಲಿಯನ್ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕರನ್ನು ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿ ಸಾಗಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಶೇ. 1.46ರಷ್ಟು ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆ ಸಾಧಿಸಿದೆ.
ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ವಿಭಾಗವು 2026ರ ಜುಲೈ ತಿಂಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕರ ಸಂಚಾರದಿಂದ ಲಭಿಸಿದ ಆದಾಯವು ಶೇ. 4.60ರಷ್ಟು ಏರಿಕೆ ಕಂಡು ₹214.02 ಕೋಟಿಗೆ ತಲುಪಿದೆ. ಇದೇ ಅವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸರಕು ಸಾಗಣೆ ಮೂಲಕ ₹31.58 ಕೋಟಿ ಆದಾಯ ಗಳಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ, ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ವಿಭಾಗವು 2026ರ ಜುಲೈ ತಿಂಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇತರ ಆದಾಯ ಮೂಲಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಉತ್ತಮ ಪ್ರಗತಿ ಕಂಡುಬಂದಿದೆ. ಜುಲೈ ತಿಂಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕಮರ್ಷಿಯಲ್ ಪಬ್ಲಿಸಿಟಿ ಮೂಲಕ ₹2.89 ಕೋಟಿ, ಟಿಕೆಟ್ ತಪಾಸಣೆ ಮೂಲಕ ₹2.69 ಕೋಟಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಪಾರ್ಸೆಲ್ ಸೇವೆಯಿಂದ ₹12.72 ಕೋಟಿ ಆದಾಯ ಲಭಿಸಿದೆ.
ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್–ಜುಲೈ ಅವಧಿಯಲ್ಲೂ ಉತ್ತಮ ಸಾಧನೆ
ಪ್ರಸಕ್ತ ಹಣಕಾಸು ವರ್ಷದ ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್ನಿಂದ ಜುಲೈ 2026ರವರೆಗೆ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ವಿಭಾಗವು ಒಟ್ಟು ₹1,092.04 ಕೋಟಿ ಮೂಲ ಆದಾಯ ಗಳಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಕಳೆದ ವರ್ಷದ ಇದೇ ಅವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದ್ದ ₹985.12 ಕೋಟಿ ಆದಾಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಲಿಸಿದರೆ ಶೇ. 10.85ರಷ್ಟು ಹೆಚ್ಚಳವಾಗಿದೆ.
“ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕ ಸ್ನೇಹಿ ಸೇವೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಆದ್ಯತೆ ನೀಡುವುದು, ರೈಲು ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುವುದು ಹಾಗೂ ಆದಾಯ ವೃದ್ಧಿಗೆ ವಿವಿಧ ಸುಧಾರಣಾ ಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಜಾರಿಗೊಳಿಸಿರುವುದೇ ನೈಋತ್ಯ ರೈಲ್ವೆಯ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ವಿಭಾಗವು ಈ ಗಮನಾರ್ಹ ಸಾಧನೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಲು ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಕಾರಣವಾಗಿದೆ,”.
ಈ ನಾಲ್ಕು ತಿಂಗಳ ಅವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಭಾಗವು 37.42 ಮಿಲಿಯನ್ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕರನ್ನು ಸಾಗಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಇದು ಕಳೆದ ಹಣಕಾಸು ವರ್ಷದ ಇದೇ ಅವಧಿಗಿಂತ ಶೇ. 2.57ರಷ್ಟು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿದೆ.

ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕರ ಆದಾಯವು ಶೇ. 13.07ರಷ್ಟು ಏರಿಕೆ ಕಂಡು ₹826.82 ಕೋಟಿಗೆ ತಲುಪಿದ್ದರೆ, ಸರಕು ಸಾಗಣೆ ಆದಾಯವು ಶೇ. 8.27ರಷ್ಟು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ₹119.46 ಕೋಟಿಗೆ ಏರಿಕೆಯಾಗಿದೆ.
ಇದರೊಂದಿಗೆ, ಕಮರ್ಷಿಯಲ್ ಪಬ್ಲಿಸಿಟಿ ಆದಾಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಶೇ. 24.58, ಟಿಕೆಟ್ ತಪಾಸಣೆ ಆದಾಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಶೇ. 12.32, ಹಾಗೂ ಪಾರ್ಸೆಲ್ ಆದಾಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಶೇ. 2.88ರಷ್ಟು ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆ ದಾಖಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ನೈಋತ್ಯ ರೈಲ್ವೆ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ವಿಭಾಗದ ಸಮಗ್ರ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಷಮತೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿಬಿಂಬಿಸಿದೆ.

South Western Railway : Bengaluru Division Records Strong Growth in Revenue
Bengaluru: The Bengaluru Division of South Western Railway has reported a strong operational and financial performance for July 2026, registering notable growth in both passenger and freight segments. The Division earned a total originating revenue of ₹281.91 crore, reflecting a 3.56% increase over the ₹272.22 crore earned during the corresponding month in 2025.
Bengaluru Railway Division also witnessed steady growth in passenger traffic, carrying 9.23 million originating passengers during July 2026 compared to 9.10 million in July 2025, registering a 1.46% increase.

Passenger revenue rose by 4.60% to ₹214.02 crore, while goods revenue increased to ₹31.58 crore, up from ₹31.27 crore in the same month last year.
In addition to passenger and freight earnings, the SWR Bengaluru Division generated ₹2.89 crore through Commercial Publicity Revenue, ₹2.69 crore through Ticket Checking Revenue, and ₹12.72 crore from Parcel Revenue, reflecting healthy growth across key commercial segments.
The Bengaluru Division also posted impressive cumulative performance during the April–July 2026 period. Total originating revenue reached ₹1,092.04 crore, registering a 10.85% increase over the ₹985.12 crore earned during the corresponding period of the previous financial year.
During the first four months of the financial year, the Division carried 37.42 million originating passengers, a 2.57% increase compared to the same period last year. Passenger revenue climbed 13.07% to ₹826.82 crore, while goods revenue increased 8.27% to ₹119.46 crore.

Commercial Publicity Revenue increased by 24.58%, Ticket Checking Revenue by 12.32%, and Parcel Revenue by 2.88%, underscoring the Division’s sustained growth across multiple business segments.
The strong performance highlights the Bengaluru Division’s continued focus on improving passenger services, enhancing freight operations, and strengthening commercial revenue streams during the current financial year.
