ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು (Bengaluru) ನಗರದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರಣ್ಯಪುರದ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧ ನೋಂದಾಯಿತ ಲಾಭರಹಿತ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯಾದ ‘ರುದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಂ ಸೆಂಟರ್ ಫಾರ್ ಆರ್ಟ್ಸ್ ಅಂಡ್ ಕಲ್ಚರ್’ ತನ್ನ ಸಾಧನೆಯ ಮೈಲಿಗಲ್ಲನ್ನು ಕೇರಳದ ಸಾಂಪ್ರದಾಯಿಕ ಚಂಡೆ ಮೇಳ ಹಾಗೂ ಅಷ್ಟಪದಿ ಮತ್ತು ಇಡಕ್ಕ ವಾದ್ಯಗಳ ಭವ್ಯ ‘ಅರಂಗೇಟ್ರಂ’ (ಚೊಚ್ಚಲ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ) ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಮೂಲಕ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ಆಚರಿಸಿತು.
ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಮೆರುಗು ನೀಡುವಂತೆ ಇಡಕ್ಕ ಮತ್ತು ಅಷ್ಟಪದಿ ಅರಂಗೇಟ್ರಂ ಜರುಗಿತು. ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಅನು ಅಶೋಕ್ ಕುಮಾರ್, ಸ್ಮೇರಾ ಸುಧಾಕರನ್, ಅಭಿಲಾಷ್ ಕುಂಜಪ್ಪನ್, ಅರುಣ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಸದಾಶಿವನ್, ರಾಜೇಶ್ ಪಿ. ರಾಜ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಅನಿಲ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ವಿನಯನ್ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ ನೀಡಿದರು.
ಮನಸೂರೆಗೊಂಡ ಪಂಚಾರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಪಾಂಡಿ ಮೇಳ
ಕೇರಳದ ಶ್ರೀಮಂತ ರಿದಮಿಕ್ ಪರಂಪರೆಯನ್ನು ಬಿಂಬಿಸುವ ಭವ್ಯ ‘ಪಂಚಾರಿ ಮೇಳ’ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನವು ಪ್ರೇಕ್ಷಕರ ಗಮನ ಸೆಳೆಯಿತು. ಕಲಾವಿದರಾದ ಇಶಾನ್ ಅಭಿಲಾಷ್, ಅರುಣ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಸದಾಶಿವನ್, ಡಾ. ಅರುಣ್ ಭಾನು ಕುಡುವಾನ್, ರಾಜೇಶ್ ಪಿ. ರಾಜ್, ಹರ್ಷಸ್ಕಂದ, ಶ್ರೀರಾಮ್ ಪುತ್ತನಪುರ, ಟಿ. ವಿ. ಸುಧೀರ್ ಮೋಹನ್ ಮತ್ತು ಸರೋಷ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಕಾಯನಾಡತ್ ಅವರು ಚೊಚ್ಚಲ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ ನೀಡಿ ರಂಗಪ್ರವೇಶ ಮಾಡಿದರು.

ಇದೇ ವೇಳೆ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಹಿರಿಯ ಕಲಾವಿದರ ತಂಡದಿಂದ ನಡೆದ ಶಕ್ತಿಯುತ ‘ಪಾಂಡಿ ಮೇಳ’ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನವು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಗಾಂಭೀರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿತು. ಈ ತಂಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಭಿಲಾಷ್ ಕುಂಜಪ್ಪನ್, ಮೋಹನ್ ಕುಮಾರ್, ಶ್ರೀಕೇಶ್, ಉನ್ನಿಕೃಷ್ಣನ್ ನಾಯರ್, ಉಮೇಶ್ ಕೆ., ಶಶಿಧರನ್ ನಾಯರ್ ಮತ್ತು ರಾಮಕೃಷ್ಣ ಆರ್. ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದರು.
ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಪ್ರದಾನ ಮತ್ತು ಗುರುವಂದನೆ
ತಮ್ಮ ಮೂಲ ಧ್ಯೇಯವಾದ “ಭಾರತದ ಪವಿತ್ರ ಲಯಗಳ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣೆ” (Preserving the Sacred Rhythms of India) ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿಹಿಡಿಯುವ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ, ರುದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಂ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯು ತನ್ನ ಗುರುಗಳಾದ ಪೆರುವನಂ ಶಂಕರನಾರಾಯಣನ್ ಮಾರಾರ್ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಗುರು ಶಿರೋಮಣಿ ಪುರಸ್ಕಾರ, ಅನಿಲಕುಮಾರ್ ಕೊಂಬತ್ ಮತ್ತು ಶರತ್ ಎಸ್. ಮಾರಾರ್ ಅವರುಗಳಿಗೆ ಆಚಾರ್ಯ ರತ್ನ ಪುರಸ್ಕಾರ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರದಾನ ಮಾಡಿತು.

ವಿದ್ಯಾರಣ್ಯಪುರ ಮತ್ತು ಸುತ್ತಮುತ್ತಲಿನ ಭಾಗಗಳಿಂದ ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದ ನೂರಾರು ಕಲಾಭಿಮಾನಿಗಳು ರುದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಂ ತಂಡದ ತೀವ್ರ ಲಯಬದ್ಧ ಚಂಡೆ ಸದ್ದಿಗೆ ತಲೆದೂಗುತ್ತಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಕಣ್ತುಂಬಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಮುಸ್ಸಂಜೆಯ ಈ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಹಬ್ಬವು ಭಾರತೀಯ ಸಾಂಪ್ರದಾಯಿಕ ಕಲೆಗಳ ಹಿರಿಮೆಯನ್ನು ಮತ್ತೊಮ್ಮೆ ಸಾಬೀತುಪಡಿಸಿತು.
ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಮೀನಾಕ್ಷಿ ಬೈರೇಗೌಡ, ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಿ ಹರಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಶ್ರೀ ಹರಿ ಅವರು ಆಗಮಿಸಿ ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿದರು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥಿತವಾಗಿ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲು ಸಹಕರಿಸಿದ ಶ್ರೀ ವಿದ್ಯಾ ಗಣಪತಿ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನದ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಡಾ. ಜಗದೀಶ್ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯು ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿತು.

Bengaluru | Rudraksham Centre for Arts Celebrates Milestone Achievement
The rich rhythmic heritage of Kerala took center stage in the city as the Rudraksham Centre for Arts and Culture—a registered, non-profit cultural society based in Vidyaranyapura—celebrated a momentous milestone. The event featured the highly anticipated Arangettam (formal debut performances) of Chenda Melam, Ashtapadi, and Idakka, marked by grand cultural fervor.
Mesmerizing Panchari and Pandi Melam Performances
The audience was treated to a spectacular Panchari Melam performance, showcasing Kerala’s rich rhythmic traditions. This marked the formal debut of artists Ishaan Abhilash, Arun Kumar Sadasivan, Dr. Arun Bhanu Kuduvan, Rajesh P. Raj, Harshaskanda, Sreeram Puthanpura, T. V. Sudheer Mohan, and Sarosh Kumar Kayanadath.
Adding to the grandeur, the Senior Group delivered a powerful Pandi Melam performance that elevated the energy of the event. The senior team featured Abhilash Kunjappan, Mohan Kumar, Sreekesh, Unnikrishnan Nair, Umesh K., Sasidharan Nair, and Ramakrishna R.
Enchanting Idakka and Ashtapadi Debuts
Further enhancing the cultural depth of the evening was the Idakka and Ashtapadi Arangettam. Audiences witnessed the brilliant debut performances of Anu Ashok Kumar, Smera Sudhakaran, Abhilash Kunjappan, Arun Kumar Sadasivan, Rajesh P. Raj, and Anil Kumar Vinayan.

An enthusiastic crowd of hundreds of art lovers from Vidyaranyapura and surrounding areas gathered to witness the event, nodding along to the powerful, synchronized beats of the Rudraksham team. The successful evening beautifully highlighted the enduring glory of traditional Indian art forms.
The event was graced and blessed by Smt. Meenakshi Byre Gowda, Smt. Lakshmi Hari, and Shri Hari. The organizing committee also expressed its deep gratitude to Dr. Jagadish, the Secretary of Shri Vidya Ganapathi Temple, for his invaluable support in executing the event seamlessly.
