ಕೆಎಸ್ಆರ್ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ರೈಲು ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದ ಯಾರ್ಡ್ ಪುನರ್ವಿನ್ಯಾಸ (Yard Remodelling) ಕಾಮಗಾರಿಗಳ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆ ಭಾರತೀಯ ರೈಲ್ವೆಯ (Indian Railway) ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ ರೈಲ್ವೆ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಲವು ಪ್ರಮುಖ ರೈಲುಗಳ ಸಂಚಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಬದಲಾವಣೆಗಳನ್ನು ಘೋಷಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಈ ಕುರಿತಂತೆ ಭಾರತೀಯ ರೈಲ್ವೆ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದ್ದು, ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವು ರೈಲುಗಳ ಮಾರ್ಗ ಬದಲಾವಣೆ (Diversion), ಕೆಲವು ರೈಲುಗಳ ಸಂಚಾರಕ್ಕೆ ನಿಯಂತ್ರಣ (Regulation), ಕೆಲವು ರೈಲುಗಳ ಭಾಗಶಃ ರದ್ದು (Partial Cancellation) ಮತ್ತು ವಿಶೇಷ ರೈಲುಗಳ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ರದ್ದುಪಡಿಸುವ ಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ರೈಲ್ವೆ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಟಣೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ಈ ಬದಲಾವಣೆಗಳು ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕರ ಸುರಕ್ಷತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಭವಿಷ್ಯದ ಸುಧಾರಿತ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಗಮನದಲ್ಲಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು ಜಾರಿಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.

I. ರೈಲುಗಳ ಮಾರ್ಗ ಬದಲಾವಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ನಿಯಂತ್ರಣ
A. ಮಾರ್ಗ ಬದಲಾವಣೆ (Diversion):
1. ರೈಲು ಸಂ. 16231 ಕಡಲೂರು ಪೋರ್ಟ್–ಮೈಸೂರು ಡೇಲಿ ಎಕ್ಸ್ಪ್ರೆಸ್
ಜುಲೈ 31, 2026ರಿಂದ ಪ್ರಯಾಣ ಆರಂಭಿಸುವ ಈ ರೈಲು ಕಾರ್ಮೆಲಾರಂ – ಬೈಯ್ಯಪ್ಪನಹಳ್ಳಿ ಕೇಬಿನ್ – ಬಾನಸವಾಡಿ – ಯಶವಂತಪುರ ‘A’ ಕೇಬಿನ್ – ಚಿಕ್ಕಬನವರ – ಹಾಸನ್ ಮಾರ್ಗವಾಗಿ ಸಂಚರಿಸಲಿದೆ.
ಇದರಿಂದಾಗಿ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಈಸ್ಟ್, ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಕ್ಯಾಂಟೋನ್ಮೆಂಟ್, ಕೆಎಸ್ಆರ್ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಕೆಂಗೇರಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಮಂಡ್ಯ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಲುಗಡೆ ಇರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
2. ರೈಲು ಸಂ. 12785 ಕಾಚೇಗುಡ–ಅಶೋಕಪುರಂ ಡೇಲಿ ಎಕ್ಸ್ಪ್ರೆಸ್
ಜುಲೈ 31ರಿಂದ ಈ ರೈಲು ಯೆಲಹಂಕ – ಲೋಟೆಗೊಳಹಳ್ಳಿ – ಯಶವಂತಪುರ – ಕೆಎಸ್ಆರ್ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಮಾರ್ಗವಾಗಿ ಸಂಚರಿಸಲಿದ್ದು, ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಈಸ್ಟ್ ಮತ್ತು ಕ್ಯಾಂಟೋನ್ಮೆಂಟ್ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಲುಗಡೆ ಇರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
3. ರೈಲು ಸಂ. 16236 ಮೈಸೂರು–ತುತಿಕೋರಿನ್ ಡೇಲಿ ಎಕ್ಸ್ಪ್ರೆಸ್
ಜುಲೈ 31ರಿಂದ ಈ ರೈಲು ಕೆಎಸ್ಆರ್ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು – ಯಶವಂತಪುರ – ಲೋಟೆಗೊಳಹಳ್ಳಿ – ಬಾನಸವಾಡಿ – ಬೈಯ್ಯಪ್ಪನಹಳ್ಳಿ ಕೇಬಿನ್ – ಕಾರ್ಮೆಲಾರಂ ಮಾರ್ಗವಾಗಿ ಸಂಚರಿಸಲಿದೆ. ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಕ್ಯಾಂಟೋನ್ಮೆಂಟ್ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಸಾಗಲಿದೆ.
B. ರೈಲುಗಳ ನಿಯಂತ್ರಣ (Regulation)
ಯಾರ್ಡ್ ಕಾಮಗಾರಿಗಳ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆ ಕೆಳಗಿನ ರೈಲುಗಳು ನಿರ್ದಿಷ್ಟ ಅವಧಿಗೆ ವಿಳಂಬವಾಗಲಿವೆ:
- 16235 ತುತಿಕೋರಿನ್–ಮೈಸೂರು ಎಕ್ಸ್ಪ್ರೆಸ್ (31.07.2026) – ಸುಮಾರು 60 ನಿಮಿಷ
- 20663 ಮೈಸೂರು–ಡಾ. ಎಂ.ಜಿ.ಆರ್ ಚೆನ್ನೈ ಸೆಂಟ್ರಲ್ ವಂದೇ ಭಾರತ್ ಎಕ್ಸ್ಪ್ರೆಸ್ (01.08.2026) – ಸುಮಾರು 45 ನಿಮಿಷ
- 16552 ಅಶೋಕಪುರಂ–ಚೆನ್ನೈ ಸೆಂಟ್ರಲ್ ಎಕ್ಸ್ಪ್ರೆಸ್ (01.08.2026) – ಸುಮಾರು 45 ನಿಮಿಷ
- 16315 ಮೈಸೂರು–ತಿರುವನಂತಪುರಂ ನಾರ್ತ್ ಎಕ್ಸ್ಪ್ರೆಸ್ (01, 02, 03.08.2026) – ಸುಮಾರು 105 ನಿಮಿಷ

II. ಪೂರ್ವ ರೈಲ್ವೆ: ಭಾಗಶಃ ರದ್ದುಪಡಿಸಿದ ರೈಲುಗಳು
ಹೌರಾ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ಮೂಲಸೌಕರ್ಯ ಕಾಮಗಾರಿಗಳ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಳಗಿನ ರೈಲುಗಳು ಭಾಗಶಃ ರದ್ದುಪಡಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ:
- 12863 ಹೌರಾ–ಎಸ್ಎಂವಿಟಿ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಸೂಪರ್ಫಾಸ್ಟ್ ಎಕ್ಸ್ಪ್ರೆಸ್ (ಜು.24, 25, 26)
ಹೌರಾ ಬದಲು ಶಾಲಿಮಾರ್ನಿಂದ ಪ್ರಯಾಣ ಆರಂಭ; ಹೌರಾ–ಶಾಲಿಮಾರ್ ನಡುವೆ ಸಂಚಾರ ಇರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. - 12246 ಎಸ್ಎಂವಿಟಿ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು–ಹೌರಾ ದುರುಂಟೋ ಎಕ್ಸ್ಪ್ರೆಸ್ (ಜು.23, 24)

ಸಂತ್ರಾಗಾಚಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂತ್ಯ; ಸಂತ್ರಾಗಾಚಿ–ಹೌರಾ ನಡುವೆ ರದ್ದು.
III. ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ ರೈಲ್ವೆ: ಭಾಗಶಃ ರದ್ದುಪಡಿಸಿದ ರೈಲುಗಳು
ಸಮಖಿಯಾಳಿ–ಗಾಂಧಿಧಾಮ ವಿಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ಡಬಲ್/ಕ್ವಾಡ್ರಪ್ಲಿಂಗ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಸ್ವಯಂಚಾಲಿತ ಸಿಗ್ನಲಿಂಗ್ ಕಾಮಗಾರಿಗಳ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ:

IV. ವಿಶೇಷ ರೈಲುಗಳ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ರದ್ದು
ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣಾ ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ಕಾರಣಗಳಿಂದ ಕೆಳಗಿನ ವಿಶೇಷ ರೈಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ರದ್ದುಪಡಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ:

ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕರಿಗೆ ಸಲಹೆ
ರೈಲ್ವೆ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕರು ತಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಯಾಣವನ್ನು ಯೋಜಿಸುವ ಮೊದಲು ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ರೈಲುಗಳ ಸ್ಥಿತಿ, ಮಾರ್ಗ ಬದಲಾವಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮಯದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಅಧಿಕೃತ ವೆಬ್ಸೈಟ್ ಅಥವಾ ವಿಚಾರಣಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಪಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ವಿನಂತಿಸಿದೆ.
Indian railway : Several Trains Diverted, Regulated, and Cancelled
Bengaluru: In view of the ongoing yard remodelling works at KSR Bengaluru Railway Station, South Western Railway has announced major changes in train operations, including diversion, regulation, partial cancellation, and complete cancellation of select train services.
According to railway authorities, these measures have been taken to facilitate infrastructure upgrades and ensure safer and more efficient train operations in the future.
I. Diversion and Regulation of Trains
A. Diversion of Trains
1. Train No. 16231 Cuddalore Port–Mysuru Daily Express
Commencing its journey on July 31, 2026, this train will be diverted to run via Karmelaram – Baiyyappanahalli Cabin – Banaswadi – Yesvantpur ‘A’ Cabin – Chikbanavar – Hassan route.
It will skip stoppages at Bengaluru East, Bengaluru Cantonment, KSR Bengaluru, Kengeri, and Mandya stations.
2. Train No. 12785 Kacheguda–Ashokapuram Daily Express
From July 31, 2026, the train will run via Yelahanka – Lottegollahalli – Yesvantpur – KSR Bengaluru, skipping stoppages at Bengaluru East and Bengaluru Cantonment.
3. Train No. 16236 Mysuru–Tuticorin Daily Express
From July 31, 2026, the train will be diverted via KSR Bengaluru – Yesvantpur – Lottegollahalli – Banaswadi – Baiyyappanahalli Cabin – Karmelaram and will not halt at Bengaluru Cantonment.
B. Regulation of Trains
The following trains will be regulated (delayed) due to the ongoing works:
- Train No. 16235 Tuticorin–Mysuru Express (July 31, 2026) – Delay of 60 minutes
- Train No. 20663 Mysuru–Dr. MGR Chennai Central Vande Bharat Express (August 1, 2026) – Delay of 45 minutes
- Train No. 16552 Ashokapuram–Dr. MGR Chennai Central Express (August 1, 2026) – Delay of 45 minutes
- Train No. 16315 Mysuru–Thiruvananthapuram North Express (August 1, 2, and 3, 2026) – Delay of 105 minutes
II. Partial Cancellation of Trains (Eastern Railway)
Due to infrastructure works at Howrah, the following trains will be partially cancelled:
- Train No. 12863 Howrah–SMVT Bengaluru Superfast Express (July 24, 25, 26, 2026)
Will originate from Shalimar instead of Howrah and remain cancelled between Howrah and Shalimar. - Train No. 12246 SMVT Bengaluru–Howrah Duronto Express (July 23, 24, 2026)
Will terminate at Santragachi instead of Howrah; cancelled between Santragachi and Howrah. - Train No. 22888 SMVT Bengaluru–Howrah Humsafar Express (July 23, 2026)
Will terminate at Santragachi; cancelled between Santragachi and Howrah.
III. Partial Cancellation of Trains (Western Railway)
Due to quadrupling and automatic signalling works in the Samakhiali–Gandhidham section:
- Train No. 20685 Gandhidham–KSR Bengaluru Weekly Superfast Express (August 4, 2026)
Will be partially cancelled between Gandhidham and Ahmedabad and will originate from Ahmedabad. - Train No. 20686 KSR Bengaluru–Gandhidham Weekly Superfast Express (August 1, 2026)
Will terminate at Ahmedabad and remain cancelled between Ahmedabad and Gandhidham.
IV. Cancellation of Special Trains
The following special trains have been fully cancelled due to operational constraints:
- Train No. 06523 SMVT Bengaluru–Thiruvananthapuram North Weekly Special (August 3, 2026)
- Train No. 06524 Thiruvananthapuram North–SMVT Bengaluru Weekly Special (August 4, 2026)
- Train No. 06547 SMVT Bengaluru–Thiruvananthapuram North Weekly Special (August 5, 2026)
- Train No. 06548 Thiruvananthapuram North–SMVT Bengaluru Weekly Special (August 6, 2026)
- Train No. 06555 SMVT Bengaluru–Thiruvananthapuram North Weekly Special (July 31, 2026)
- Train No. 06556 Thiruvananthapuram North–SMVT Bengaluru Weekly Special (August 2, 2026)
